We’ve said a number of times this year that “this week the season is on the line”, elimination final etc etc...some how with a couple of good wins & results go our way, we are still in it…

That said, with 5 games inc this one 2 go, we MUST WIN this week to have any chance of defending our premiership… bugga other results.... WE need to make the difference & guide our destiny ourselves, not RELY on other clubs to do us favours

MEN, its UP 2 YOU NOW...Do your stuff!!!

GO SOUTH!!!

Door’s open.

Win this and the next and you’re 9 - 8.

Who’s next after EAST FREMANTLE?How the tables have turned there if you reverse Foundation Day.

As i see it EVERY game is an elimination final. We got Subiaco this week who’ll be hell bent after their poor performance against West Perth and they would like nothing more than to put a nail in our finals coffin. Then we play the sharks who will be playing for their spot in the four after 2 consecutive losses. But we cant look towards the derby until we knock off Subiaco first. So c’mon boys i believe u can do it on Saturday.

I think this is a winnable game despite going in without Graham, the motivation is there no doubt about it.

Your right Robbo, we were pathetic last week WP never let us in the game. But apart from CL & SD the rest have been so erratic form wise, will be up for 2 or 3 weeks then have a shocker like Subi did last week and WP did against Souths and Peel, so it’s just a week to week proposition. 5 games to go and Subi need to win 3 as do WP to be absolutely sure of making the finals. Su have SF twice, Cl, EF & EP. Can’t see us beating CL but the rest are tough but winnable. WP have PT EP, SF CL & P, Assume a loss to CL, the rest are also tough but winnable. EF only have 4 games left SF P SU PT, Souths have SU EF SD WP & SU 4 out of 5 against top 4 sides, EP rank outsiders have P PT WP SU & CL so as others have said it will come down to the wire and % could decide it in the end. Lets hope there are no injuries to key players that effect the final results and the best teams fill the 2 spots up for grabs.

Center line and followers look a bit light on - but we might get over the line.

This should be a ripper game boys, both teams on a knifes edge.
Up at Joondy last saturday a few of the WP goss lads took the time to wonder around to the outer wing for a chat, Cardy & Winger in particular and we had a good chat about all things WAFl. Would be nice to catch up with any of you Souths people, S & S, Dogman, Souths4ever. There is always a mob of Subi tragics near the light tower on the outer wing so if you have a few moments wonder over for a chat.
