Well the circus is on again, c’mon guys give us your thoughts on who will take it out and how the campaign is shaping up?

For me the polls don’t look good for the Libs, and I’m feeling Gillard is already doing better in the media, she’s coming across as friendly and popular even if its a totally polished media image, she’s managed to make Kev 07 a distant memory already - Abbot so far is struggling to get the message across, cant cast of work choices, and isnt going in for the kill on the ALP ‘s stuff ups.

A big boost with the usual ALP Greens preferences deal.

A long way to go but for me it’s looking like a ALP win.

I will be voting Libs, but Julia has the media bluffed (ala Kev07). She has got away with the backstabbing without SERIOUS investigation. Tony is too blunt and upfront, for the people of today. Fancy calling some women housewives, although true in some cases, its a nono nowadays.
Its not about policies or anything REAL, its about a popularity/media contest, much like a reality show, and ya know how people in general lap those up. People (media) are more concerned about the shade of red of Julias hair than policies. Dare the media ask any RELEVENT policy QUESTIONS??

Agree UNKA I wont be voting ALP , that’s for sure they simply dont deserve it, its been a totally incompentant government,, but as you say the media are going easy on Gillard, and giving her a handy ride, 1st female PM and all she will have a softer run and as you say Abbott is just to hard nosed for the soft society we live in today.

ABBOTT’S Soft if you can hear the WHINGEING of BIG BUSINESS.GOOD!

Unka, just what sort of media ask Julia INANE Questions about her hair?

The sort of programs that most likely aren’t into Politics seriously.Really, have the likes of TODAY TONIGHT and ACA changed since they were RAVAGED and LAMPOONED by FRONTLINE?I don’t think so!

LAURIE OAKES might be seen on ACA,but he comes from SUNDAY where it might rate 15 tops.As for SERIOUSNESS,well LAURIE’s trying on that score. But the general public with an attention span of a Doostop quote have quickly lost interest and the serious Political Animals have seen STRAIGHT through Laurie as a CHEERLEADER for the COALITION.

But the SERIOUS CHEERLEADER there would be NEWS LIMITED who see themselves as both the GOVERNMENT and the OPPOSITION in effect when the Libs are n corresponding positions.

As for the FEDERAL ELECTION - Too close to call.It all depends though whether the NSW and QLD Electorates link the STENCH of DEATH of their respective State Governments to FEDERAL ISSUES.Surprisingly and pleasantly so,it has shown that FEDERAL and STATE Matters can be seperate matters.

I’ll settle for a second term, but they’ll be on Notice. And perhaps when several NSW Heavies in the ALP Right get WIPED OUT in the NSW Poll, that they might change their Attitude on Running Party Machines, sooner rather than later.

But before Lib voters get too excited on the ALP having BLOOD on their hands and the Electorate catching on,a little SKELETON is Rattling Badly in their DARK CUPBOARD.I don’t suppose they remember or CARE to,how close THEIR NSW RIGHT came to having BLOOD ON THEIR HANDS?LITERALLY!

What was that poor man’s name(A former leader at that) who came within an Inch of his Life having been HUMILIATED and BULLIED by his own Party,AIDED and ABBETTED by the ULTIMATE RAG The Tele in this Country?I’ll leave LIBERAL DIEHARDS to wrestle with their Conscienes before they get ALL HIGH and MIGHTY about POLITICAL ASSASSINATIONS.This one almost cost a man his Life.

GOODNIGHT TO YOU!

Well said grassy.

If anyone needed reminding about the credibility (sic) of TT and ACA, just look at Media Watch from Monday just gone.

http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/vodcast/

And perhaps this story from today, with a low life reporter being aided and abetted by Chanel Kerry management:

Journalist broke law during ‘hitman’ sting

Two Channel Nine employees have been found guilty of breaching the Listening Devices Act after they secretly filmed an ex-mayor discussing a plan to murder a male escort..........

Jesus at least listening to 91.3 keeps us away from it..

I was afraid someone was going to get a Election thread going..

Oh well on with the bullshit..

Labor should win as they have obviously made Bob Brown a big promise and he has promised the PREFERENCES TO LABOUR..

So those idiot GREENS VOTERS will be voting for labor anyway in 50 MARGINAL SEATS.
Makes it a bit hard our democratic society doesnt it..

Ah yes the greens deal - as usual the extreme left wing of politics have done a deal with the ALP, adterall they really are just the left wing of the ALP in anycase as was said a decade ago and are morphing even closer and closer that way, THEY SCARE the crap out of the ALP as they erode the remnant left wing extremists from them and take the good old intellectual lefties of the 1970’s from the uni co operatives with them in a clean sweep.

ALP has cornered themselves badly now, and one bloke you dont want to be cornered in a room with your pants down with is Bob Brown, he’s done them into a High Taxing Carbon deal that will come out in the next couple of years after the ALP win.

Nazi’s were famous for nights with long knives, like the night the former ALP hero Kruddy got the KNIFE. What a disgrace.

Thing is he and they get more power as each decade passes, dont be surprised if they “take” Lindsay Tanners seat ,Melbourne, and I use the term take lighly as it effectively will still be a left wing ALP seat.  They will vote with them on just about everything.

Therein lies the bottom line, its nothing to do with US as such, its all about them protecting thier “jobs” and thier particular party.
