Crap post. He’s hardly talked about in the media so i don’t know how you can say he’s over-rated. Besides, for a first-year player he’s having a fantastic season but is let down by trying to be fancy when he just needs to concentrate on doing the basics properly.He’s hardly alone in that- every club has them. Hopefully Harvs will have a word to him.

Yeah the goal he should of kicked when running in from about 20m was a blunder, but dont worry about Morabito...he will be an “A” grade midfielder of the highest order. Remember he’s only 18 and his 1st year in the AFL.

Didn’t you mean to say Rhys Palmer? Apart from Morabito’s clanger in front of goals he was without a doubt one of the driving forces today. Palmer is woeful, his poor kicking skills has rattled his confidence and effected his decision making, it stands out like a sore thumb.
I agree that this kid, at this time in his career is a spud. There is no issue that he will improve but at this stage he is no contributor to the team play that freo have shown all year. He needs to go back to wafl to work on his skills and desision making then comeback a better player.
He has not been playing well and should be dropped to make way for a better player
There is no problem with his skills and I am fairly confident that he will develop into a very good player and have a long career at AFL level. My only query at this stage is his lack of commitment when he needs to put his body on the line and that he runs much harder to receive the ball than to close down the opposition. Jury is still out but I think he will make it.
Two weeks ago Palmer was best afield with 30 touches, he is improving steadily after his knee injury and Morabito has had a very good first season, he will continue to develope and become an exceptional mid fielder.
Looks a bit like the Asylum workers went on leave again on the weekend and let a few of the inmates out.
