Friday 9th of July at Freo oval and i expect it to be on for young and old with season on the line. The Joondy garlic munchers will be fired up to keep their top 4 chances alive while the doggies will be hoping to make life diificult for them. Might be bit of cold night in Freo but sure the taste of a coldie in the members bar will go down a treat for those supporters willing to brave the condiitons.
Should be a beauty!!!! GO SOUTH FREO!!!!

The only reason I still have hope of making the finals is that currently we are 2 games behind 3rd and 4th. We play those teams 3 times which are the 8 point games we always talk about . . . .does that mean there are 24 points availablesmile

Subi twice and EF once and WP twice also . beat them both times and we can dispose of them ourselves.

It’s in our own hands but with the patchy form and loss of key players its doubtful.

But when your a chance you’re still a chance.

When you are missing players like Hunt, Graham, Wilkie, Theo Adams, Reece Adams, Thornton, Phillips and Seigert last week and McGrath for the previous month plus Farmer, Bell, Gilmore, Smithers from last year it’s a big chunk of a side.

Head and Dell’olio were dropped for a few weeks due to lack of form also.

15 players who have gone, been injured or lost form badly.

Nearly a whole starting 18.

Has shown up some areas of concern, maybe the best thing for us going into 2011.

Wouldnt be to concerned...I was not convinced by our win last week against Perth. It was a pretty ordinary effort and scrappy in fine conditions.
Our forwards failed to score.

It is going to be a real scrap and tiring in the Bog its going to be.
If a team who is in front at half time (by a few goals) will most probably go on to win it
Big call but the heavy going will tire players who are not used to it.

I am not willing to make a call on this one.

The only thing is if we lose we will still be in the running with 6 to go.
We play you again on a Friday night in August. We have to win at least one of these 2 games to remain in the contest.
SF have to win to survive so it will be on

There was a massive amount of rain in Freo last night - it will be very heavy underfoot.

Hopefully we don’t start from behind the 8 ball and have only 3 on the bench.

Mcgrath and Hams out is no good, especially when its going to be tough and scrappy.

Collica injured or has he been dropped?

Carter too playing ressies. Think these 2 boys should be playing league footy, especially tonight. Good experience and their pace would have been a bonus I reckon.

A great win - happy to say I tipped them. Terrible conditions but still managed 12 goals.
