If we lose this game at home I will start to worry!!  I know it’s only a scratch match but Mona needs to notch up a win here to give our boys (and me) that winning feeling!

We started last weeks game like a rusty old gate but finished well, hope they go on with it tomorrow against the chunders!

I was impressed with the teams performance today. A good talent comming through.
In fairness to Peel they didnt look to bad either once they get a few basics sorted out. They did a lot of attacking and if wasnt for our good defence the result could of gone the other way.  No problem though as we had about 10 key players out of the side today and not sure how many Peel had out (if any)
Great Saturday afternoon all up with the weather and just watching the Red and Blue again.

Falcon here are next weeks matches…

Saturday March 13th
East Perth v Claremont at Medibank Stadium
South Fremantle v Subiaco at Fremantle Oval
Peel v Swan Districts at Rushton Park
Perth v West Perth at Eftel Lathalin

WP league won by about 3 goals
Peel Ressies won by about 4 goals (very impressed with Peel ressies and a few could be comming up I would say)
Colts no idea. Not even sure if they played.

After the the league game they had a u16 game WP v EF.

Someone else could have more info. WAFL site hasnt been updated yet will have a look tommorrow but they only usually post league results.

Couldnt find any WAFL action in the Sunday Times today (Some things dont change)

Congrats to Andrew Stryk in his Eagles hit out yesterday in a winning team as well.

Better performance against the crab sticks on the weekend. Sems we are still under done but i suspect Monna’s has a plan to ensure all are ready rnd 1 aginst the Black Ducks.
How far away is Dan Hunt, he is critical. good to see Ducky going well in the backline.
Good to see say Sala back in action.

W.P only had 10-11 regular league players ,playing in this game ,but in all fairness so did Peel.Good to see Josh Pearce back in the middle and winning the ball but is footskills are ordinary at times.
Was impressed with Eoin McClintock down back.He won the Reserves fairest and best in 2008 but was out last year with an injury.Others to shine were Zanetti,Alex James with such quick hands,Saylor and Jack Darling with 5 goals.
In the Reserves Seb Dearle and Troy Skilton were standouts.
The style of football, was at times,a pleasure to watch with switches of play and quick ball movement thru the middle and into the forward line.
A better test will be against Perth this Sat when a number of senior players should return.
