Whats the bet the WAFC do F all for the pre-season! this is a perfect opportunity to get some publicity for the comp and theres so much you could do. For example:

Freo twilight comp as it will still be hot. 18min quarters no time on

Game one
SF Vs WP 1st quarter
SF Vs WP 2nd quarter

5min break

EP Vs Perth 3rd quarter
EP vs Perth 4th quarter

Game two
EP Vs Subi 1st quarter
EP Vs Subi 2nd quarter

5min break

SD Vs Claremont 3rd quarter
SD Vs Claremont 4th quarter

So each week all teams get 2 quarters but one team gets a full work out with four quarters. For the fans you see more teams, hence more people through the gate, more interest.

This format would follow on over say three weeks then you would have a normal 4 quarter final based on the 2 clubs with highest aggregate score.

You could also maybe have 15 man teams or change the rules slightly, I dont know - SOMETHING ANYTHING!!!! to bring some friggin interest!

The idea has merit Tiger10; but there might be a problem or two in the changerooms.

yeah i thought abt that but you could have make shift change rooms? plus by the time the games are over the other teams would have showered and left.

You say all teams get a game but fail to mention EF,or lest we forget Peel.You’ll begone before we do sunshine.
