Shouldn’t have let Peter Bell go either, his return was well worth it and so will McPhees

Please dont compare Peter Bell to McPhee..... there is daylight between them..

Not comparing them at all, merely making the point that clubs get things wrong sometimes, in Bells case it was, to some degree, rectified and he gave us some great games. Whilst McPhee isn’t in Bell’s class, he is still good enough to fill a role with Freo and they have made the right decision. He is a good and experienced player. Freo need a few with his experience.

I just think his best footy is behind him.. Would Freo have been in a better position if they hadnt let these 2 go? i think so.. But hey time will tell… All he will do is be a swing man & plug holes…
