All the best to Mitch Duncan and Ben Stratton on their selections in tonight’s national draft.  Mitch is following the path of Joel Corey to Geelong, and Ben is off to Hawthorn.

Losses for us at WAFL level, but these young guys deserve their chance to be fully professional footballers and I’m sure all Royal’s fans wish them well.

Congratulations also to all the other 11 West Australian players who got selected.

I will second the sentemments of Royalblood my fellow East Perth supporter. I would go further as to saying thank you to the Coaches who Coached Mitch Duncan an Ben Stratton. To Tony Micale and others you have helped Ben Stratton & Mitch Duncan in their development to get them drafted to the AFl Thank you each and every one of you. All my fellow East Perth Supporters will agree with my words as a say best wishes tio Ben Stratton & Mitch Duncan at Hawthorn & Carlton respectivly.

I think you mean Hawthorn and Geelong, Jason, not Hawthorn and Carlton.

But you’re right about the confidence Micale had in these 2 young guys. They played a lot of senior footy last year which no doubt helped them get drafted.
