Can’t wait to see Palmer back in the middle at Subi Oval in 2010 with Hill and Morabito on each wing and Mayne and Ballantyne there to support Pavlich for a whole year. It will also be good seeing Brett Peake’s kicks miss Reiwoldt by 20 metres instead of Pav.

Not expecting a final four finish Raiserrrrrr. I just think we picked well in the last draft and that the season would have been a lot better if not for the injuries we suffered. If they pick young blokes again I think we will be better. How much better is to be seen. I’ve just seen my amateur side go from 2nd last to premiers in one year. i know miracles are less frequent at the highest level but true supporters choose to believe.

aahahaha nice one sgreer

really hope palmer gets back out there and has an impact for ya’s, got to admit i like the thought of watching mayne and ballantyne up forward, hill on the wing too and haydn (one of my favorite freo players for his time and decision making) to have an injury free season, and broughton to back it up this year and go close to F&B honors
plenty of optimism for freo, and with luck everyone predicts you in 13-10th place, and gives you a chance to over perform expectations for a change
good luck

Yeah, just like your shit of a club
Maybe if you’d stop whinging about the draw and actually play some football, you’d get a better draw.
You think I talk drivel? Everything I’ve said here is fact, but if you want to call fact drivel, then go ahead.

I have not whinged about the draw once you driveller. Fixtures wise you get what you get and you deal with it. No one is pretending Freo don’t have to stand up and do the hard yards. Still don’t have to listen to your drivel though. Piss off to whereever you belong.

Looks like Adam McPhee is heading back to Freo. Is my memory right, in saying that he would have been actually happy to extend his first tenure, but he was part of one of our many unsuccessful trading strategies. A good potential pickup by Freo or not?At 27 and with 4 goals in a losing finals side three months ago hopefully he has at least three good years to give.

Adam Mc Phees “BEST” equates to a “good” player...NOT very good or excellent, just good. Now his below, “BEST” (say 2 outta 4 weeks?), is average (or below).

Likely to over run the ball, or drop a chest mark at a pivotal part of the game.

3 year contract… he must be dead set laughing i reckon

i’d expect a much more competitive freo next year, i’m not saying we are gonna win the flag but i reckon we should finish 11-8 depending on the strength of the competition.

assuming we pick up morabito in the draft, this is how i’d expect us to line up next year:

B: Broughton Tarrant Hayden
HB: Duffield McPharlin Suban
C: Hill Hasleby Mundy
HF: Pearce Pavlich Mayne
F: Ballantyne McPhee (possibly swap with mcpharlin) Walters
Foll: Sandilands Palmer Crowley

bench: (any 4 from) Clarke, Bradley, Morabito, de Boer, Johnson, Grover, Solomon, Ibbotson.

now to me, thats the forming of a solid team on paper and with the promise our young guns have shown I wouldnt expect to see the dockers laying down for anyone in 2010.
