Not condoning drugs KR. Everyone knows that his death was from an overdose of a mixture of drugs. What I am saying is that his immediate family (his wife and children) would have all the details that they need. It isn’t going to do her or his children any good to keep bringing this up. I don’t think the public need to know the sordid details of his death. Mainys father needs to talk to his daughter in law if he needs some answers. Mainys brother seems to be able to. As for his playing ability, you are insulting him by comparing him to Mcmanus, he was a far better player, why do you have to run eagles players down on their playing ablilities. You seem to forget he was a premiership player which is more than I or you, for that matter can say about any of your so called recent greats at Collingwood! (eg Buckles)
Deb...there’s a lot of average players that are premiership players, similarly there’s a lot of champions that aren’t premiership players!!!
Sure the family might or should know how and what he died of BUT if it became public then perhaps it might save plenty of kids who looked up to him from taking drugs...BC is still alive and well and he is the man that could change so many lives if he spoke out and became the face of an anti drugs campaign
G Ablett, N Buckley, R Harvey just to name a few from recent days and there’s countless others
