Looks like the competition is going to be very very close this year boys. WC by a point. NF by 5 points. WCC by 13 points. NB by 16 points & Whitfords by 24 points. That means that NB & WC are the only unbeaten sides. With TA’s & UNI yet to record a win.

Whitfords 13.19 def Collegians 11.7
North Beach 15.6 def Uni 12.8
WCC 14.8 def Stirling 11.13
WC 11.14 def CBC 12.7
NF 14.18 def TA’s 15.7

Fantastic call by terrace on the Round 2 Tips. Wesley Curtin indeed by a point. A goal after the siren after CBC led all day.
North Beach and North Freo as expected.
Whitfords/Collegians were either way as was Stirling/WCC
The eveness of the competition really showed through.

Easily one of the most even A grade competitions in a long time.
Tipping each week will be super difficult.

You mean cos Worst coast cowan won a game its going to be close?? They got flogged last weekend by one of the top sides and just got over the line against a average side like $$$tirling. Wait to see half way thru the season how close it is NB NF and WC are going to fight this out with all other sides making up the numbers.

So you don’t think the WA$FL Wann$erroo North Padbury Warriors are going to threat at all?

I think that a win vs Stirling is worth more than you are giving credit for Leek. Stirling whilst not really throwing a shot finals wise over the last few years have knocked off more than one GF contender.

I do agree that the teams fighting it out will be NB, NF, WC and add CBC to that after their impressive start. However any team will be a chance in any game this year, its a sure thing that Uni and TÁ’s will have a decent run at some stage.

You obviously dont watch much ammos, plus take notice of results leek if you think the comp isnt tight this year.

Going on your logic, Stirling cant be too bad a side, as afterall they did beat TA’s (14pts) by a greater winning margin than North Freo (5pts).

You may well be right at seasons end, that class and the power houses stand up (WC, NB and NF), but your an idiot if you dont think its a tight comp at present and will be for the coming few weeks.

NB & NF are the true powerhouses of A Grade.......track record proves it.
Whitfords are showponys who would like to think they are powerhouses.
Havent made my mind up on Wesley Curtin yet.  Will decide this season.

Hello Einstein, 2 weeks into a competition of course the comp is gonna be tight, we have only played two games !!! And after 4 weeks it will still be tight. The fact of the matter is you won’t know where every team is at until one full round is completed, and thanks to the WAAFL you won’t know that until the end of the year after they stuffed the fixtures up.
