Well I think its a great move by the PFC to get Jarman, he has results on the board in the SANFL and will definitely gain the respect of the players.
Very positive move by the club and it would be great for the comp to see the PFC become a power again. Well done PFC and good luck in 2009
He did ok at North Adel, who are my sanfl cub.., but I wouldnt say he is a great coach..do have to agree the blokes just about self promotion though ... at the very least will pull a few through the gate...but dont be surprised if the wafl stage is a bit small for jarmo and he **** of early.
I think the only plonker on here, is the west perth drop kick who started this thread, I personally think Perth have got the cream of the crop(of whats available) I think Jarman is just what the doctor ordered, looking forward to having some very competitive games against the demons in 2009.

Dont think you did,you are making a call from a long way away and far from being close to the sanfl action.
He had a winning record of 63%,started coaching at the club where in the previous 5 years they couldnt finish higher than 7th.
He took over and they finshed 4th,4th,3rd,2nd(grand final appearance) and 7th.
Not a bad record from where they were before he started coaching.
Time will tell if he is a good fit for Perth and the wafl.

leedy we were pretty average last year and even though we drew with you at eftel we really should have won, and out at joondy we had you on toast going into the last qtr and you scraped home for a win,for a team that finished second you weren’t very flash.
Jarman should be good for Perth. He’s the kind of bloke who doesn’t take crap and doesn’t accept mediocrity. He also seems like a good talker and he wants results NEXT year, not in 5 years. He’s almost the complete opposite of Eastaugh.

as i said he did ok...got em from wooden spoon into finals then a gradual build up to gf,, which they blew and then dropped out to 7th...and sacked. might go ok..
