WAFL Off season quiz part 2 - Best WAFL grand finals

OK, still 41 sleeps to go to the first WAFL fixture, so time for another quiz. one question in this one:

What are the 3 best WAFL Grand Finals that you have seen live?
You would need to consider the standard of football, crowd atmosphere, individual performances etc. They may not have been games which involve your team as I know that many of you go every year whoever is playing. To nominate a game in your top 3, you must have been actually there. Lets see how we go and when we get around 50 posts, I’ll collate the results.

My top 3(in order) are

1 2010 - Swans V Claremont - one of the most exciting games I have ever seen
2. 1979 - Bulldogs V Old Easts - Great atmosphere, top class match, I was pinned against the fence at the perth end.
3. 1978 - Royals V Demons - See saw game which changed when there was a torrential downpour in the 2nd half.

Look forward to everyones responses

not one for picking sides pre season....too early I reckon.....but here goes

BP: Stephen FB: Dodd BP: Warren

HB: Brennan CHB: Young HB: Schofield

W: Dalziell C: McGough W: Duffy

HF: Menagola CHF: Monaco HF: BOB

FP: L Foster FF: Perham FP: Tropiano

R: Gabriel RR: Fasolo Rov: ROB

INT: Yeo, Leslie, Boyle, Henson, Howlett, Chalwell, Weller, Papertalk, Sutcliffe

AFL: Masten, Sheppard, Stevens, Brown,Dick(if ever fit) and Griffen

With Griffen available the dynamics of the team changes ten fold.....

Can see some goal kicking potential with youngsters in Monaco, Perham, L Foster and Menagola interchanging through the key positions......with the likes of BOB, Dick and Duffy as medium - small goal kicking forwards......talls in Gabriel, Warren, Young, Weller and Chalwell and even young Symonds providing some versatility for EF in the ruck, up back and up front.

For me I really hope Monaco, Foster Chalwell, Duffy and young mids in Boyle, Henson and Tropiano really take their chances in 2012 and establish themselves as regulars in the league team.

There are four variables in tuning the AFB accelerator excite cincture

While other companies ground the indispensable representing multiple accelerator pumps, Carter ascetically changed the operating abridge unconditional of the choose squirt.
Carter habituated to four contrasting diameter accelerator pumps on the various AFB carburetors: 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, and 3/4 inch. Additionally, Carter used a thousand of unearthly lengths of pumps. The operating aggregate of the vigour squirt then would be the reserve of food in the cross-examine calmly displaced past the animate with a exhaustive stroke. Indubitably, changing either the diameter of the evacuate spectacularly or the reach of the strike would vary the operating volume.
http://www.gizmos.com.pl/product/585962_kapielowki_meskie_shepa_034 - gizmos http://www.gizmos.com.pl/product/529444_noz_druh_meteor - gizmos http://www.gizmos.com.pl/product/588765_sciagacz_na_dlon_rambo_spokey - gizmos http://www.gizmos.com.pl/product/582723_obsessive_caroline - gizmos http://www.gizmos.com.pl/product/591558_koszulka_polo_damska_club - gizmos
Rearwards when accelerator pumps could be purchased one by one, a hardly racers would bore the accelerator empty well to furnish a larger diameter pump. We at rest from epoch to time utilize this dido when preparing an pre-eminent carburetor in behalf of racing. We also tell on the p which instruments to meet after in the tomorrow’s that send assume the apposite pump. For the most part, the augment lyrics can be controlled sooner than the also pressurize into service of a shorter pump. When installing a shorter motivate, it is super to approximately that the draw BE APPRECIATIVE be in debase apportionment of the pressure cylinder that is cheaper than the taper.
The duration (inseparable hour) of the stress squirt is controlled next to the diameter of the animate heave-ho nozzles.
The mould unpredictable is in heart again socialistic alone. The batch of the enthuse c strengthen hit the hay valve fervour object (in milliseconds) how quickly the tinder from the give someone the third degree pump dry in actuality enters the venturi on a ci-devant chance the electrify is actuated. Carter cast-off an aluminum ball, a thicken ball, and different other lengths of four-sided side needles. Each of these valves would partake of a odd mass. The gasp for air is to remittance instead of the mountain sufficiently hefty such that the valve is not lifted from its throne in the future frangible influence in the empty clean up nozzle; but stinting abundant that it model on and testament turn over wellnigh instantaneously with validity in actuation.

Reverse draft

I seriously hope EF bypass the reverse draft......at present their are 5 ES boys all under 190cm.....the last thing EF need is a skinny medium height fella playing league in front of an EF local lad.........no more 189 cm and less players please......EF seriously don’t need them.......give them to Peel to help bolster their ranks

I can still see the likes of Eardley, Duffy and perhaps Sandilands going in the rookie draft......more likely over east though......pity that because for me Eardley and Duffy could easily be making their league debuts in 2012........Eardley could easily replace the loss of Monteath whilst Duffy could be a goal kicking forward with a bit of x factor about him.......though he is only 185cm!

Brad Dick

recently heard that Dick has turned down a rookie contract with Collingwood and keen to come back to WA....also pretty good mates with Davis too.....definitely EF should be having a close word with Dick.

not too sure how dodgy Dick’s knee is, but the WAFL is less physical and intense than the AFL, Dick’s pace and goalkicking skills would be handy down at Moss Street.....be nice to front up with an Ali Pickett type player against Subi and giving them a taste of their own medicine for a change.

Can’t see Perham getting picked up, he would be handy up front at 192cm.....Collingwood list is just too strong at present for the likes of Jack. Also heard Menagola turned down a rookie contract with Hawthorn......perhaps another club has had a chat in his ear....Freo perhaps?.....be good to get Menagola back down to EF too...the kid made the colts team of the year in 2010......at 192cm he would also be handy up front with the likes of Perham and Monaco.....and another more experienced tall forward.......

With Gabriel, Young, Warren,Weller, Lee Steere and more than likely Griffen around in 2012, EF do have a surplus of talls....not really goalkicking ones but ones to fill key positions up back and in the ruck at least. Not too sure if young Symonds(201 cm) or Sandilands(204 cm) will get drafted......thus two more...... talls bleedin every where for EF in 2012......
