Crap pre-season swans

As far as I’m aware swans didn’t win a game this pre-season, including the ultimate shame of losing to Peel. That’s right, Peel.
Yet nearly everyone has tipped us to either win it or finish 2nd for the season proper. Am I missing something or has Dawson been doing a whole lot of experimenting? Anyone else concerned?

I heard Dennis Cometti on 6pr today plugging Falcons memberships-what an advert made me want to pay my mebership again. Price to Schofield to Mifka to Whinnen ,Sala,Chamber and Bewick kicks the goal.
Great stuff well done to the club for getting golden tonsils invloved and trying something new.

Times are a changing, very few even had Subi in the top four this season in the Sunday Times. That’s what you get for be so complacent. Could be 4-5 years in the dumps for this club. Where’s your fricken YOUUTH?

According to today’s West it seems that boom recruit David Wirrpanda will try to fit in in a few games for East Perth when his off-field commitments and rehearsals for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ allow.

This must come as great comfort to his teammates, especially the one/s who temporarily take his spot in the side while he fine tunes his execution of the cha cha

I heard a rumour today eminating out of Adelaide.

Ex Carlton, now ex Glenelg, 2006 Magarey medalist Brett Backwell has been spoken to by Jars since being sacked from Glenelg.

Is 29 years of age, but a player of his size and ability, would have at least a couple of years left at WAFL level I would have thought. Very very classy midfielder.

Maybe a late christmas present??
