I watched the 20/20 the other night and was interested to see how Mathew Wade performed.
He was the outstanding player with the bat,but,his keeping left me wondering if he is the third best keeper in the country.That is naming the best three as Haddin,Tim Paine and Wade.
I thought Wades keeping was very ordinary,very sluggish.Seemed to fumble a bit.I know Haddin has had an ordinary summer so far, but I think I prefer him to Wade as a keeper.
I know he has blown his chances,but,I prefer Ronchi as a keeper above Wade.
I guess it depends on whether the selectors are after a keeper,or a keeper batsman(not batter.that goes on fish)

There is Speculation that Rienhrat and Sydney Adman John ASingleton will be in talks to merge FairFax Radio network and MacQuarie Radio Network to become Rienhary Radio Network due to Gina Rienhray buying Shares in Fairfax Media now Clive Palmer wants to buy shasres in Fairfax Media. Mr Palmer siad that he wants to get fairfax Medai Miving. So Moving in the Right Direction I hope.

Another joke picking 40 year olds in a new fledgling comp trying to attract new young fans, how about giving some new blokes a go..there is only two 40yr plus players who are worthy of selection IMO and thats Gilly and Warnie, and even that would be backward, WA is living in the past..Brad Hogg PLEASE!, Whats next? Hilfenhaus, Cowan and Marsh in, Hughes Kwajha and Starc out. Christian back to the Big Bash. Toss will be crucial as the pitch will be juicy apparently in the first session. Can’t wait, I reckon this series will be a beauty and a lot closer than a lot of people think

Has anybody else been watching this doumentry on SBS. This program has been rating its balls off with viewer numbers similar to a program called Go Back To Where You Came From. I feel the immigration issue is much greater within Australian society than Gillard thinks.

Hmmm....... on top of all the kudos Australia got for their handling of the GFC - stimulus and all that ......... now comes this.

How embarrassing for some.

Treasurer Wayne Swan has been awarded the prestigious finance minister of the year award for his handling of the Australian economy.

The award is judged by leading European banking and finance magazine Euromoney on advice from global bankers and investors.

Each year the award honours the finance minister, treasurer or central bank governor whose decisions “have directly benefited both the performance and perception of their country’s economic and financial achievements”.

Australia survived the global financial crisis without suffering the recession that crippled most Western economies and has registered strong growth during the latest downturn which has hit other countries hard.

Mr Swan oversaw the cash handouts in 2008 and the schools building program that were widely credited with quarantining Australia from the economic woes of the GFC.

The only other Australian treasurer to win the coveted award was Paul Keating in 1984 after a raft of economic reforms including deregulating banking and floating the dollar....................

Given the most recent outbreak of spam from johnget84 on Goss, I would suggest that unless the owner of the forum is willing to introduce some controls, the forum is doomed.

The Mods can’t be here 24 hours a day, and neither can members be expected to police the morons who are only too willing to infect what is otherwise an interesting and informative outlet.

If the forum software is unable to police ad screen new “members”, then perhaps it is time to move to software which is.
