Has anyone heard the latest on the MFA and the teams playing this year?

I know Jandakot and noranda have moved into Saturdays. Any other teams left to Saturdays or any new ones coming in.

Have heard that there are 2 new clubs joining the MFA this year. 1 is Secret Hatbour and the other is Koongamia and have also heard that a couple of AMO clubs maybe puttin in a team to play Sundays so the MAF looks like it is going along well and agin showing that it has a big place in football in Perth

Do any of you guys remember playing with/against Jim Kidd (of JK Sports) in the old Sunday Footy League - probably in the 70s? I think he played for Kelmscott - and maybe a couple of other teams.

I played baseball with Jim for a number of years, and he was pretty mild on the diamond. But I understand he was a fierce competitor on winter Sunday afternoons.

Any memories or anecdotes?

Was speaking to a Noranda play who tells me in an effect to keep them in the Mercantile Competition the MFA have guaranteed them to play all there games on a saturday…

Thats sucks i wont be able to play against them due to work if they want to go play saturdays then screw them go to the Amatuers after all the MFA is a SUNDAY comp thats why i play there

Any truth in these rumours or was is just drunk talk (we both were fairly intoxicated).

Any thoughts if it is true ?
