Training has been underway for 4 weeks now since the Christmas break with the players sweltering under the extreme heat we have been having. They are really enjoying the challenge and are focussed on ensuring they are in peak condition leading into the pre-season games.
The squad will play intra-club games on Friday 3rd, 10th and 17th commencing 6pm at Arena Joondalup, followed by the pre-season games against Perth on 25th February, East Fremantle on 3rd March and Peel on 10th March. Times for pre-season games should be available by 13th February.

In other news, our new Strength and Conditioning Coach, Jarrod Wade, has taken up a full-time opportunity at the Essendon Football Club and will be replaced by Chad McLaren. Chad has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Norwood Football Club in the SANFL for the past 4 seasons and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role. We welcome Chad and his partner Monica to WA and look forward to his contribution to the club.

Rumour has it that billy boy is not very well liked at joondalup by either the players or the board!

West Perth Finances

After watch the WAFL for the last few years, West Perth this year have been one of the big recruiting teams and most likely one of the highest spending teams this year. I have been told that West Perth is a well run club but does not generate the same revenue as some of the other WAFL clubs.

Have they found some wealth, ala Swan Districts or are they going all out because they are in a ‘premiership window’?

merry christmas to all. i have new neighbours, the are from leave sarah alone, i think thats somewhere in north africa. doesnt matter, couple of days. they have a boy called electricity. the mothers name is dyna and the fathers name is moe, dynamoe makes electricity. HO HO HO. their washing machine stuffed up the other day. they bungged the omo in, pulled the chain and their washing was gone, poor buggers. happy xmas to all.
