Losses and gain for next season.

How will Souths fair next year with departures from the club?Who will leave who will stay?
What is the situation of our Colts and ressies,are there any players on the horizon who will make an impact at the home of football in Wa next year.
How many of the kids from the colts will be nominating for the AFL draft.Will many of them get picked up?
I know a lot of questions ,but just trying to get some inside info as to how the club is placed player wise.
Balla may be able to give an insight as to what is happening down there.

Seeing that the people down at Lathalin or Eftel whatever its called these days know when their team play their scratchies. Does anyone in the know down at Bulldogs headquarters know when our boys will be playing their scratch matches and when etc???

OLD BAR MIRRORS - SOUTH FREMANTLE FOOTBALL CLUB WAFL

Hi there - Lisa here - just wondering if you could assist me in any way possible.

I own two OLD but in excellent condition - South Fremantle Football Club - (Bar Mirrors - framed). The bigger of the two is extremely heavy and depicts a mirror background with the bull dog on it (from waist up) carrying a football. (All in red) underneath it is the words BULLDOGS - South Fremantle Football Club. In the top right hand corner in black, is a eight sided shape with a side profile of a black swan with the letters underneath it WA. This mirror has a sticker on the back which has "Future Shock - .....crows nest NSW) The rear of the mirror is sealed by wood. This one measures 20 inches by 26 inches.

Would you know anything about the value of this mirror or perhaps how old it is???

The second mirror is also framed with a sealed backing. The sticker on the rear of this is white with the shield and the black swan with wings outstretched, with a white football in left wing and the words : West Australian Football League - Approved product. Manufactured by Champion Glass The front has the bulldog's head in red on an angle on top of a W shape with the words - BULLDOGS - South Fremantle Football Club (all in red). Underneath is the same picture as on the back with the letters W.A.F.L written above it (this is all black) A little further down the mirror in red with white edging is the words. STH. FREMANTLE Football Club. This mirror measures 13 by 19 inches.

Once again - I am wondering how old and how valuable this one is??

$30 mill redevelopment of Freo oval for the Dorks

What’s the feeling amongst the souths faithful re todays report in the West re the Dorks redevelopment (take over) proposal. Souths are hardly mentioned in the article, all you read is how it is the Dorks “spiritual home”. Souths people may argue that point. Although it sounds like you may get some new facilities tacked onto the end of Dorks empire.

Considering NO-ONE else is going (like Wilson could be it seems) this is what we have at our disposal. Not as bad as I first though I must say but you would think with 4-5 injuries our depth would be really tested.

One positive is that we may have some of Duffield and Hams throughout the year. Both I believe will be in out of the side.

Still need a big bully of a ruckman. Hayward just learning and Myles Bolger will need to play ressies to get into the groove.

A CHF would be nice. Must get Medhurst or Havelburg or BOTH now!!

Midfield looks ok considering who we lost.

Lets hope we can keep Willo, pick up at least 1 more KPP and that some fringe players really come of age like Palumbo has.

Plenty of spots up for grabs.

Reserves coach situation

The situation with the coaching of the reserves team at the kennel is interesting with Scott Thornton and Andrew Siegert swapping after each month.

Has it been done before and what are other opinions?

Seems like a different strategy…

Recorded a loss of $12,000 this year.

An improvement but still a loss.

Let’s hope a few more get drafted in the rookie draft to help out the numbers.

It’s just been announced on the Worst website that JD has resigned to take up a full-time role at Christ Church. Looks like Hase could be in the mix to replace him. Some huge changes in WAFL personnel already this year potentially making it look like a year of turmoil.
