HIGHLIGHTS
-Beating 2 of the Top 3 (considering current finals)- Subiaco and West Perth
-Taking it up to the 4th placed team- South Freo- losing by 29, 8 and 17.
-Beating 5th placed East Freo.
-10 goal win at Bassendean Oval
-Bendigo Bank Stadium Facilities
-Extremely competitive season. 5 wins and 15 losses, though of the 15 losses-7 were under 5 goals and of those 7- 3 were 2 goals or less.
-No 100 point beatings!!

-Overall, this season we used 46 players and only 4 players, 4 of our best- Rhys Healey, Brendon Jonees, Devin McFarlane and Kristin Thornton-played every game.
-We have a solid core group that we need to keep- Battye, Beswick, Flaherty, Matty Brown, Healey, Herring, Holmes, Brendon Jones, McFarlane, Nye, A.Thornton, K.Thornton, Pohlenz-Saw and Williams.
-The younger guys like Gillam, Green, Eddy, Mason, Heal and Senior, not to forget Kieron Butcher who was fantastic until he went down with the injury- will be better with another pre-season, plus some good talent coming through the colts (4th place finish)
-We should also get some games from the AFL guys- Blayne Wilson, Lycett and Faulks.
-If we can get at least 1 more solid body in each third plus Riggio, HIldebrandt, Bloxsidge perhaps returning or some decent retiring/delisted AFL players.

All in all, Trevor has the team going in the right direction, whilst we finished last, it was a positive and very competitive season and I look forward to 2012.

114 point loss.

The idea to allow the youth to show there talent before they are taken by the draft is a wonderful concept, as long as they can be as strong as a 90kg man.

Good idea Russ but let the coach do his bit and field a real side and you can stick to what you do best and that is run the club don’t try to coach it.

So can someone tell me how Thunder were winning last year till Russ took over? After he did the team just stopped? And then The coach quit! Thunder have one only won one game this year, but we are getting a new grand-stand! What for?

Thunder might not have a team if they can’t win a freaking game. But the bar staff can offer a story or a picture to show LOL!

Have been down to Steel Blue/Bassendean Oval and on a few occasions walked away with a smile on my face, but usually it hasn’t been a very fun day out at the footy. Today however I walked away with a massive smile on my face after the MIGHTY Thunder boys demolished Swans.

Firstly I hope Ash Hansen and Tony Notte make speedy recoveries and that they will be okay.

To OUR boys, fantatstic 4 quarter effort of football!!! Plus the reserves got a win as well!!!! 5 wins and 9 losses, only 2 games out of the top 4 and on level win/loss ratio with Swans, East Perth and Perth.
