According to today’s West it seems that boom recruit David Wirrpanda will try to fit in in a few games for East Perth when his off-field commitments and rehearsals for ‘Dancing with the Stars’ allow.

This must come as great comfort to his teammates, especially the one/s who temporarily take his spot in the side while he fine tunes his execution of the cha cha

I’ve been waiting for someone to begin a thread on this for the last couple weeks....

i assume most sides would have started to get some run in the legs by now. how is everyone shaping up? any new recruits for any of the clubs? any losses from the sides returning from A grade or anyone else for that matter?

Swan Ath, provided they stay healthy would have to consider themselves are great chance to take that next step this season with the natural progression of their young players and the huge boost to their firepower with the addition one of the better big forwards running around in ammos in Brent McPherson from Swan View. Would have to be smiling from ear to ear with that signing.

Willetton to be thereabouts as always along with Collegians and WCC for my early top 4.

1000% improvement on the Claremont game..

no Robinson, Roberts, Roach, Riggo, Pratt, J.Pullman, J.Embley..the 1st 4 all in our best 5-6 mid-fielders..Davis played - worked hard but was rusty, same with Geappen..
no Hansen..
Notte played back and did well..
last years colts that played were S.Pullman, Van Groningen, Boddy along with Andrew and Cooper who are kids from the bush i think..
back 6 in the last qtr was Taylor, Notte and then Aitchison (1 game) and Boddy, Andrews and Van Groningen who all havnt played a league game so its no wonder we got over run in the end but a good eperience for all the youngsters..Clint Garlett good again also..Colreavy and Twomey worked hard..

Krak outstanding, best player on the park..Garth good again, Twomey worked hard and Spencer kicked a few up forward..Ames did a minor hammy but wasnt having his best game, need him fit..

East Perth work hard, well drilled side, missed a lot of easy goals but when you have a kid like Boddy playing on a good player in Noakes its good for our future..

Would be keen to hear if anyone sees anything on the news, reads anything in the paper or hears anything on the radio about the opening round of WAFL fixtures on this weekend.

I was AMAZED to see the Sunday Times had a bit of a lift out on the WAFL AND had the pre season scores! Lets see if the WAFC has done its job and promoted it to the media outlets.

If you see something or hear something comment on this post.
